Take a stand against Israel's holocaust on the Palestinian people

This is a call to all women, caregivers, anti-racists, pro-peace advocates, civil rights leaders, and everyone in between:

I am urging you all to take a stand against Israel’s holocaust on the Palestinian people.

You should care for dozens of reasons, but here are some for a start.

Veteran's Day

This Veteran's Day, I thank Jon Michael Turner, Iraq war veteran, who threw his medals and exposed his personal stories of murdering innocent families, destroying their homes, mosques, and their lives. It is painful to watch and listen to, but very important in understanding what was actually done to the people of Iraq.

These are war crimes against humanity. This occupation is and always has been illegal. The U.S. military destroys lives in OUR name and with our complacency.

Solidarity with Rev. Larry Rice and St. Louis Homeless

If we do not take a stand against the national crisis of homelessness, poverty, and growing income inequality, we all suffer. We have nothing to gain and everything to lose.

In this first piece on homelessness, I will introduce the background story about why I first started feeling compelled this year to stand in solidarity with Reverend Larry Rice who is St. Louis’ most famous advocate for people experiencing homelessness. I hope to shine light on the shadow elephant in the room by providing a different story than what the mainstream media says about homelessness and their advocates. This is the first of hopefully many essays to come.
